I am so excited that Holley Williams will be joining me as a guest blogger on the topic of fashion. I enjoy staying on-trend and adding to my wardrobe every season, but I was lacking on ideas to share with you. Plus, we all get in a style rut and need occasional inspiration.
Since Holley is a personal stylist and an expert on what to wear when I thought she would give Home with a Twist some street cred on the fashion scene.

Three Must-Haves for Fall — Bomber Jacket, Pleated midi skirt, and flowy blouse.
A bomber jacket can carry your entire wardrobe throughout the fall and winter. For a casual look, pair it with a t-shirt, and flared or skinny jeans. Make sure your t-shirt is half tucked in the front. To take it up a notch, wear your jacket with a midi skirt. Add heels and the next thing you know…you be lookin’ super fly! (Holley told me to say this).
Flowy Blouse. You can style your flowy blouse to look boho with a pair of wide leg jeans. Take it up a notch with a metallic belt.
Fashion Tip #1: Wear the flowy blouse with large accessories. large+large=awesome.
Fashion Tip #2 Pair a midi skirt with ankle boots for an updated look. This hits all of Holley’s points with the bomber jacket, tucked in t-shirt and pleated skirt.
Tip #3 Wear the bomber around the shoulders. I didn’t wear a bomber jacket to work today, but I did wear a cardigan which is my totally favorite fashion staple. I felt so uber chic wearing it on my shoulders with my sunnies on, holding a latte.
Wanna take your after-five look from typical to stylish? Add a touch of metallic. The belt and tulle skirt is perfect for cocktails with friends.
