My husband and I love a quick Vegas getaway!  For us, it’s all about relaxing at a 5-star luxury hotel for a few days.  So, when we received a “Google” travel alert with a cheap flight to Vegas…we were all-in!  Next thing you know, we booked our flight and a room at Encore for two nights!

Luggage tip:  A recent purchase I made was two 25” silver spinner Samsonite suitcases from Macy’s (50% off)…light weight and easy to maneuver.  So worth the investment!

Since our trip was last minute, I simplified packing by going with a black and white travel wardrobe…easy to mix and match.  On the plane, I wore my new white zip Cabi jeans with a black pajama top with white piping, a black Michael Kors blazer, and sneakers.  I also carried a super cute black and white bag from Kindred in Kansas City. Watch out Vegas…we’re heading your way!

Packing tip for a short trip:   Pack in 3s…3 tops, 3 bottoms, 3 blazers/wraps, and 3 pairs of shoes.  Hmmm…maybe 3 is my lucky number!

The highs were predicted to be in the low 70s and cool at night. Perfect weather…right? All I needed for an afternoon of poolside lounging was a cute swimsuit, cover-up, beach bag, hat, and book.  A black and white poolside look on our board shows the Girl from Panama blogger wearing a pair of high-waist white pants over a black one-piece swimsuit with a black kimono. Another idea is to wear a maxi skirt or flowy pants over a bathing suit….so sophisticated! And I’m loving the striped flowy pants on our Pinterest board. BTW….did I mention how delicious the poolside cocktails were?

Our first night, we dined at one of our favorite Wynn restaurants, Lakeside. Like everywhere else you travel, Vegas can be very casual. That being said, it’s still okay to be cute and stylish…right? A fabulous look featured on our board is a ruffled Johanna Ortiz floral skirt paired with a white off-the-shoulder ruffled top…beyond exquisite!   And for the Vegas “wow factor” you can’t go wrong with white slacks or jeans and an off the shoulder black top! Be sure to browse all the fabulous looks on our board!

The next morning, we were up bright and early and headed straight to the gym. A recent purchase I made was a silver and white metallic athleisure jacket which I wore with black leggings, white t-shirt, and black and white Nike’s…the perfect look for a five-star resort gym.  A sporty look I’m crushing on from Neiman’s fitness wear is a polka-dot Kate Spade workout jacket. I’m starting to wonder if this adorable jacket would inspire me to go to the gym every day.

For a fun packed day, frayed jeans, a t-shirt, striped blazer and loafers make for the ultimate style combo.  A large tote is a necessity for holding all of your shopping purchases! There are two from Zara’s at Fashion Show Mall that are ideal for a Vegas vacay.  And the good news is they can double as a shopping tote or as a pool bag. One is a round wicker bag with a large black tassel, and the other is a laser-cut black tote….so easy to transition into your everyday style!

Our last night in Vegas, we treated ourselves to a lovely dinner followed by an amazing show, Le Reve.  For this luxe evening, I wore black skinny jeans, a pastel blue blouse, black floral kimono, and black kitten heels.  For a classic style, you can never go wrong with a white jacket and black slacks or jeans….just be sure to add a pair of statement earrings and kitten heels to your chic look.

After two fun packed days in Vegas, it was time to head back to reality….home sweet home!  Now it seems like we need to take off a few more days to relax!
