I bet you are wondering why talk about fashion at a time like this.  And believe me, I totally understand. In fact, I thought about putting myself in fashion quarantine for a few months.  That being said, I think it’s important to stay upbeat and continue sharing the latest styles, and hopefully, a few smiles!

For me, a cute outfit is the perfect quarantine remedy.  So let’s talk about what to wear when you are confined to home.  My first piece of advice…do not get stuck in a quarantine-rut. If you are wearing leggings every day, then at least add a little style.  Wear them with a cardigan, match a few bracelets with your fitness watch, and kick up your sneaker style with a pair of colorful Nike’s or Veja sneakers.

Got some extra time on your hands?  Then start following me on Pinterest.  With over 70 boards dedicated to fashion, you are going to love browsing.  One of my most popular boards is called “Age Fabulously”…all about style inspiration for women who are evolving.  So, I’m thinking it’s time to bring out your inner hippie chick with a tie-dyed maxi dress. Another at-home comfy look is a long flowy kaftan…just add rattan slides from Etsy.  Starting to feel fabulous?

One of my quarantine tips….make the most of your time at home, and shop your closet.   Recently, I restyled a green floral kimono and wore it with jeans, a white t-shirt, and animal-print boots.  Typically, I wear it as a robe with lounging pants. After you’ve created new outfits be sure to take photos so you won’t forget.   And BTW…closet shopping is my specialty, so message me if you need help!

Another quarantine tip…make the most of your stay-at-home time and start purging.  If you haven’t worn something all season, take it to a resale shop (my favorite is Elegante Diva on South Hulen Street…across from the mall).  Be sure to take clothes on hangers and in-season. Once they open back up, it’s recommended you make an appointment with the store owners, Danielle or Suzi, (817-346-3337).

I don’t know about you, but I’m actually enjoying my fashion quarantine and all my new-ish outfits!
