Last week we shared how to refresh your closet here. Now that your closet is organized, here comes the fun part…styling your closet like a chic boutique.  Here are twelve ways to create a boutique closet:

#1 If there’s room, hang a full-length mirror on a wall in your closet or on the door.

#2 Place a chair or stool in your closet.  I love my swivel stool from Home Goods.

#3 If you have natural light or a window in your closet, think about adding wallpaper.  FYI…wallpaper on the ceiling adds a luxe accent.

#4 If you have space, move an armoire or chest of drawers into your closet.

#7 Be creative in displaying jewelry by using items around the house, such as…a candy dish, a cake stand, small bowls, and trays….and even teacups.

#10 Definitely matching hangers to give your closet a cohesive look and can be space-saving.

#11 For a party vibe…bring a bar cart or party tray into the closet.  They are great for storing makeup, handbags, hats, jewelry, etc.  And even a bottle of tequila!

#12 Top off your closet boutique style with a chandelier or a unique ceiling fixture.  If you have space, add a lamp for ambiance.
