My precious Phoebe hosted her first bridal shower with me yesterday and it made my heart glow. I loved seeing her spirit of hospitality in action as we worked together in the kitchen and as guests arrived.
My mother did the same with me - teaching me recipes, etiquette, and how to make people feel special. Now it`s passed down to Phoebe.
Yesterday was also meaningful because the bride is the granddaughter of my high school teacher from 40 years ago. Mindy and I have stayed friends and now our girls are friends. How good is God!❤

Pro tip: After harvesting cut the green tops off and the roots then store in water. Your radishes will stay crisp and retain moisture.
Radishes are super healthy. For their size, radishes are a good source of vitamin C, an antioxidant that may fight cellular damage that can lead to cancer and other diseases. They are full of fiber but low in calories.

Laurel, Mississippi did not disappoint! This quintessential southern small town checked all the boxes! Stunning historic homes, the not-to-miss Lauren Rogers Museum of Art @laurenrogersmoa, quaint stores with local goods, and the warmest hospitality.
This self-guided walking tour is considered the largest, finest, and most intact collection of early 20th century architecture in Mississippi. It`s definitely City Beautiful. P.S. I might just make this my second home.

What is your Easter tradition? Since my childhood, my mother would pull out her (now vintage) lamb cake mold to make the most beautiful confection with whipped snowy white frosting and coconut (Daddy`s favorite).

What is your Easter tradition? Since my childhood, my mother would pull out her (now vintage) lamb cake mold to make the most beautiful confection with whipped snowy white frosting and coconut (Daddy`s favorite).

Growing up we had a hedge of Spirea "Bridal Wreath" in our backyard. My mother would cut branches for me and I`d pretend I was a bride.
When I realized we had Spirea in our garden it made me so happy. I cut branches before our rain storm yesterday and put them in water. They have a light, sweet scent and remind me of my childhood.

RECIPE BELOW - Three Pepper Pork Tenderloin 👇
1 lb pork Tenderloin
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp dried rosemary, crushed
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground white pepper
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp ground red pepper
1 tsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed (I live garlic so I put in 5 cloves)
Non stick spray
Cut pork crosswise into 12 slices. Place each pork slice between two sheets of plastic wrap and flatten to 1/4-inch thickness using the heel of your hand or a meat mallet.
Combine paprika and next nine ingredients; rub over both sides of pork slices. Grill for no more than 3-4 minutes per side.
