I love how my blog boss, Melissa, is twisting things up at Home with a Twist!  And since fashion changes daily…I’m all about twisting things up!  So, my future articles will include more fashion layouts and “hanging out” in our LTK (Like to Know it) virtual closet.  That being said…Welcome to Hanging Out with Holley!

So, where are you “hanging out” this 4th of July?  Wide-leg pants are perfect for a holiday hang-out!  We’re loving Ralph Lauren’s striped pants shown with a white J Crew classic fit short sleeve shirt….tuck it or tie at the waist. All you need to add is a large striped tote, navy sandals, and blue statement earrings!

With the upcoming July 4th holiday…Holley’s kicking things off with espadrilles.  They look so cute and comfy matched with a summer maxi dress.  We’re loving a white Tory Burch wedge matched with a floral maxi….or give it a casual twist, match the dress with red monogrammed espadrille slides.

To stay cool while running errands this summer, think about wearing an adorable midi or maxi skirt.  Our two favs are a floral midi from Madewell and a tie-dye maxi from Mango.  And it’s so easy to give them a preppy or boho vibe by just changing accessories.

Splish-splash!  The best way to cool off this summer is with a little dip in the pool wearing a cute red, white, and blue bathing suit.  Holley’s pick is a red striped and blue checked one piece from J Crew….pair them with a straw hat, flip flops, sunglasses, and a red bandana print beach bag.

Thanks for “hanging out” with me!  And have a fun and safe July 4th…. wearing red, white, and blue, of course!
